FASA is a catalytic investment facility, launched with initial contributions from Norway and USAID and managed by Investisseurs et Partenaires (I&P), that aims to close Africa's ~$100 billion agri-SME financing gap. It provides $2M–$10M in subordinated capital (mainly junior equity) plus technical assistance to investment funds that channel $15K–$5M tickets into African agri-SMEs — it does not give grants or invest in SMEs directly.
