The Next Gen Initiative is the EJS Center's flagship 12-month fellowship supporting emerging women public leaders from Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone through leadership training, mentorship by Amujae Leaders, hands-on public leadership placements, and a monthly stipend. Applications close September 4, 2026, and are open to women aged 25–35 with a degree and at least three years of relevant experience — including those working in agriculture and food systems, though the program is sector-agnostic.
