The ECoWYERT Program is a five-year (2025–2030), Mastercard Foundation–funded initiative led by UNDP to build the business, entrepreneurship, and export-readiness capacities of women- and youth-led MSMEs across six African countries (Botswana, DRC, Malawi, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe), so they can access AfCFTA regional trade opportunities. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis via the official form, with applicants placed into one of four categories based on their business stage — but note it provides training/capacity-building rather than direct grant funding.
Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis against the criteria below. SAIGE captures your intent to apply — linking this opportunity to your business profile — before handing you off to United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), funded by the Mastercard Foundation and co-implemented with the COMESA Federation of Women in Business (COMFWB), the Better Than Cash Alliance (BTCA), and the Trade and Development Fund (TDF)’s official application. This keeps your activity in one place and helps us surface better matches over time.
